Just wondering, cuz I'm interested in ZBRA's car, and was curios if the shifter is supposed to be that low. How you supposed to get at it? Thanks guys,

Nate

mines about that low, just a tad higher. thats not a t56 though, from the looks of it, seems to be a ZF6 going by the shift ****, if its original

Oh, I guess that could be it. He said he just did the T56 swap this weekend, so these picks must be older. Alright. Well, with your T56 then, were you still able to put the console back together with everything fitting good?

i just put a t56 in my 91z28 and i did not have any problerms shifting in any gears. the console does not hit anywhere. i used the stock shifter mechanism and added the Short Stick with stock shifter ball. it looks real cool not high at all. i tried putting the short stick in my buddies 96z28 and he couldnt get into any low gears. he is using a RK sport shifter ball. that picture is a ZF transmission.
