Well since no one else will answer you....the multi-disc vigilante is for locking it up during racing. It's designed to take the abuse. In my experience with stock converters it was always worth some time, and turbo buick guys swear by it (i'm sure they sparked the converters development)

Be patient! I am just seeing this for the first time!

It really depends on what you have and what you are doing with it and you did not elaborate on that. Is this just out of curiosity or are you in need of a new/updated converter and need to know? If this is a run of the mill application with headers and a cam then I wouldn't bother with it. If this is a 700 HP monster and you plan on hitting the nitrous just as you manually lock the TC then by all means do!

I will be going to NYC this AM so I will not be on here for a few days, just in case you have another question.
