Alright, Going to work the Tranny over... Need lots of suggestions.

I am trading a set of leather sets for a torque convertor and labor for my car. I will also be doing a shift kit and vette servo while I am at it.

What I need to know is based on my mods, the fact that this is NOT my daily driver, and I DONT care about gas mileage. I just want great performance. What type of convertor and what stall speed I should go for, and I would like to learn why, and what a TC does specifically. Transmissions, especially automatics are not big on my list of autoknowledge.

I plan on swapping in an LT1 350 (to be a 383) with a LT4 Hotcam, and other goodies, so I want something versatile. Will the 700r4 have problems? Do I need to get a 4L60 trans?

Also, unless told otherwise, Transgo is the way I am going. Where can I get the best deal on a shift kit/vette servo/and full throttle 3-4 upshift sleeve?

Thanks in advance, all of the knowledge posted here, I will put to good use.
Mods in sig;
