I am having a serious prob with my current 700r4 tranny. I just dropped in an engine that has quite a bit more power than the stock 305. Now my tranny is slipping between 1st and 2nd gears. It seems like it just stalls out for a while as it tries to engage. Is this most likely caused by the dramatic HP increase?

Also, is there a good kit out there so that I can build the tranny to handle the power? I heard I would be better off swapping for a turbo 350 or even a 400. Is there any truth in this or will the 700r4 work just as well with a build up?
