Lately I've been hearing a loud pop once and while when mash the gas or halfway mash it. Especially if I'm turning too. It sounds near to the tranny I know it's not the tranny but I'm thinking u-joints maybe. Not sure need advice.

it could be a transmission mount. put a jack under the tranny and jack it up. if the tranny mount is broken it will raise off the crossmember. you will hear and feel a loud bang from under the center console if it is broke. if you think it is the U joints then do a visual check of them and spin the driveshaft back and forth with your hand. make sure the car is properly supported by jackstands before going under it. if both of these things check out then look around under the car and see if there is anything out of place. it could also be the exhaust hiting the bottom of the car. check for broken exhaust hangers.
