ok get this i got an 86 Camaro sport coupe with the 2.8 litre, the engine is out of an 87 Firebird and the tranny. It seems like when I punch the gas I have little if any power, Then tonight, I floored going up a steep hill, It didn't catch on right away, Then it caught on, It slammed me back in my seat and as soon as i left off the gas a little is seemed to bog down, I also have a tranny fluid leak outta my detent cable i think a quart or so leaked out. what could this be?? my old 2.8 could rip the road apart spinning tires wise, this motor can't do that, it seems like it don't kick down. tranny can't be shot, it was rebuilt 1,000 miles ago
