T56 to a 1973 Block?
I was wondering if anyone knows if a T56 will bolt to the block im dropping in my 1990 RS. The block is a 350 that came out of a 1973 Camaro RS. Did they change the bellhousing to block bolts on the Lt1's or are they the same as any other sbc? And will the clutch assembly from a Lt1 work on this block.....just need to know if it will all bolt up.

I am 90% sure it will work. Don't take my word for it though.
I think you are going to need a special flywheel to go with the two piece rear main seal and the T56.

It will work just fine, bolting up isn't the issue. You WILL need an aftermarket flywheel. The bolt patterns on the flywheel from the 1 piece rear main and 2 piece rear main are differant. Centerforce makes one and so does Hayes I believe.
