i belive {according to the tach article on my yr car} that i have a 3.23 gear ratio in my rear end what would the next step up for more acceleration in each gear be?
basically i want 2nd and 3rd gear to pull as or near as hard as my 1st gear now what ratio should i go to

ive recently been reading up on this and some guys say the 3.73's are to steep i still need a little driveability on the freeway i just want it to pull up to speed twice as fast maybe the 3.42's

DO NOT get 3:73s if you're running the stock cam. You'll be way out of your power band. That's what happened to me, I didn't gain anything in the 1/4 going from 2:73s to 3:73s, cause the gears keep me out of my power band. 3:42s would work nice, but you already have 3:23s. I don't see it helping that much. I would say do a cam swap and then you can think about 3:73s.
