Just bought used trans with PRO-BUILT parts, Questions.
Trans: 700R4 w/Continental 10" 2500 NON-Lockup, HD rebuild kit.
Has only 2,500 miles on it.
1) PRevious owner had some seepage from the torque converter seal. He had the seal replaced, but still gets a little bit of seepage. It is only minor, but should I be concerned with the shaft runout after many miles?
2) Any thing I should be concerned about with running a non-lockup T/C? I installed a 16,000GVW B&M cooler.
3) Any advantage to running a synthetic fluid, like Mobil1 that is compatable with regular ATF/Dexron II?
The trans shifts awesome and goes like hell from a dead stop. I am very impressed!! The trans was built by FLP in Naperville,IL.
Thanks!

I'll pick that #3 apple...
There are advantages to using synthetic ATF, as long as it isn't Mobil 1. Ask ProBuilt himself.
Go with AMSOIL ATF, you won't be disappointed.
