From: out of my mind; be back in 5 minutes....
Car: 1989 Firebird Formula
Engine: Internal Combustion
Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
Offhand, the only difference I can think of would be the flywheel...you'll need one to fit a two-piece RMS engine.

it is not an 86 engine then, id like to know year of your car and year of engine in your car right now,

and also what is the shape of your crank rear flange, is it perfectly round or flared out flat mounting face for the wheel ?

good luck

Well it came out of an 86 pickup. It was the original engine. I checked the casting numbers and it shows it being an 85. But I assure you it came from an 86. The truck was bought new by my grandfather, so I know what year it SHOULD be. But it is a 2 piece, I broke it down myself. So do I only need a diffrent flywheel? Thanks for the help. By the way, I currently have an l03.
