I am converting my 1989 2.8 v-6 camaro from an auto w/ the 700r4 tranny, to a 5-speed manual w/ the T5 transmission. I am purchasing the transmission from a junk-yard near me, but they do not have one out of an F-body. My question is, can I use a T5 transmission out of an S-10 Blazer with the 2.8 motor. I already have the bellhousing and clutch fork from and f-body, but the tranmission was already taken. Thank you
