TH350 trans pan gasket...Recommendations?

hammer the dimples around the bolt hole back out, high tack on the trans to hold the gasket in place and ultra copper or ultra gray silicone on the pan, not much. i use the gasket that comes with the filter

I smear Vaseline on both sides of a generic cork gasket and torque the bolts to 100 lbs./in., then retorque to 100 lbs./in.
after installation. The gasket should not bow out at the bolt holes.
