What do you guys recommend?

I should have my ZZ4 by next summer. With the ZZ4 comes the transmission to rebuild. How do you guys recommend building my 700-R4? What should I put in it to make it strong and a good performer? I don't want to buy a whole new transmission. What about rearend gearing? I was thinking 3:42 Posi. Anything else in the drivetrain that would need beefing up to get the most out of the ZZ4? I plan on replacing the driveshaft with an aluminum one.

Get the TransGo Reprogramming kit, this is what the tranny mechanics on this board say to get. "It's the only REAL shift kit".
As far as your gearing, that sounds like a good choice.

Thanks Mark. I heard that Corvette servos are good as well. Is this true? I am going with the Transgo shift kit because I heard it was the best as well.

You'll need a higher stall torque converter as well. Talk to Dana at Pro Built (www.pro-built.net) and he'll get you on the right track for all of this - rebuild kit, reprogramming kit, servo, relief valve, converter, etc.
