i swapped a T-5 in my car last week. i now have 350 tpi with a 5speed. car is running great but my back up lights and brake lights arent working. Do they run off the same switch on the tranny and if so how do i make the lights work again. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!

 

check to make sure the plug is plugged in on the tranny. it should be the plug on the passenger side of trans case. i think there is a switch behind the brake pedal for the lights. check fuse too

 

not sure if this is already fixed or not, but when you took out the auto shifter there was a clip with 6 wires in it. the dark blue and light green are for the reverse lights. there's a plug on the side of the tranny on the driver side that these go in to.

 

the lights are still out but i think u may have shed some new light on my problem. ill try it out tomorrow and let u kno how it went. thanks.
