slave cylinder problems on t-5

alright i have a couple problems with it,i have flowtech lt headers for one,we had to beat back the headers a little bit to make it so they didnt touch the slave cylinder, also the damn line that runs to it from the mastercylinder,"the hydralic line" i cant seem to get it work right,my factory one busted,so we got a high pressure one that was like hard rubber to,it was working fine for about a week or 2,and yesterday found it was leaking, slowly then it just went, hole in the line at the slave cylinder,so i took it off, tried 4 times with 4 different clamps to put it back on after i cut some of it off where it was leaking, and i got pissed off,and started throwing things, eash one of them clamps busted,or just wouldnt tighten down any farther, and it was tight, but wasnt tight enough, you could still turn the line with your finger, what type of line do you guys recommend?and also how do i fix this clamp problem,oh yea, should i buy that header wrap stuff, and wrap around it to keep heat away from the slave cylinder and starter?thanks for your time.
