Dana,
I recently bought a trans built with your parts and a 10" non-lockup Continental converter. The previous owner only out about 2,500 miles on the trans in about 2 or 3 years. He mentioned that he had the converter seal replaced because there was some minor leakage around it, leaving a tiny bit of ATF in the inspection shield.
The trans guy I had take the trans out of the original car is the guy who built it. (Chuck Johnson at FLP in Naperville,IL) He said there may be a little bit too much run out on the shaft. I remember he said .004 of runout is perfect, but some companies will set their tolerances up to .008.
Is this going to cause any problems down the road? The trans really shifts hard at WOT and takes off like mad from a dead stop. No vibrations on the highway.
Thanks!
