Check Ball Location w/ Trans Go Kit

I hope somebody is reading this board instead of watching the races today. I'd like to finish up the 700r4 trans today. Anyhow, I'm installing the trans go 2-3 reprograming kit & the Jr. kit, & need to know which set of instructions to follow, relative to check ball installation? The valve body diagram, the trans body diagram, the 2/3 kit or the Jr. kit, or the factory shop manual??? This pertains to a '88 VB w/ an auxilery valve body.
So far, I believe I use check ***** in the drive 3 location & the 3rd clutch accum. position, this being same as factory. LEAVE OUT the check ball on the auxilary valve body location (forward clutch).
Now, what about the large copper flashed check ball for the T.V. exhaust. Factory says I should use one there, Trans go kits do not address this one way or the other.
Finally, the hole H location. My VB has hole H open & the Trans go instructions say install a ball in the TRANS CASE. I never had a ball in this location & plan not to install one. Is this a correct move.

Can anbody address these issues with a high degree of certainy?
Thanks, FJK

This is an addition to my question. I think one major problem I have is that all the check ***** in the tran CASE are missing, probably when my son installed a B&M shift kit. Therefore, I not only need the locations of the check ***** in the case & in the valve body, but also the size (diameter) of the *****. I'm assuming they can be replaced with standard size steel ***** from a hardware store. Correct??

The Checkballs are 1/4" in diameter. Just follow the Reprogramming Kit Instructions. The lrge copper ball is usually left out. Are you using the Jr Kit for the Servo and accumulator stuff? Otherwise you would not use anything else along with the Repro Kit.

Boy Leo, am I glad to hear from you. Yes, the Jr kit is only being used for the servo & accummulator. Dana @ p/b also set the accum spring to "black" & line bias spring to "red" per the Jr kit instructions. I'm using the .500" TV valve.
Back to the original question, the trans case having no check ***** really threw off my thinking. So, now I believe the case will take 4, 1/4" check *****, the VB will take 2 1/4" check *****, the auxilery VB will take 1 1/4" check ball. I can omit the check ball for the TV exhaust. Although I called this ball copper flashed, it is not . It's the only check ball that is larger than the rest. Specifically 5/16" DIA STEEL, which I presumed was the TV exhaust. I'll leave out the 5/16 ball unless there is another location for it. Hope your still on-line to reply. Thanks MUCH. FJK

The case will take 4 checkballs & the valve body 2. If you have any other questions, give me a call.
