I'm planning on getting a new transmission from Pro-built. Should I go for a 700 or a 200?

Whats involved in a th700 to th200 swap?

I'll be adding a 9 psi Procharger next spring........

Go with whatever you have in the car now. If it is a 2004R, then I will need your transmission to build, as it is a Gran National type. TA 2004R's are rare and worth about $500.00 or more as is. If it is the 700R4, then I do not need yours, as I sell them outright. Let me know?

what's involved in the swap?

well you'll need a new xmember, if you can find a TTA one you can use the stock torque arm

You'd be better off talking to Steve Spohn and getting his xmember and torque arm, its 399, and like another 50 for a driveshaft loop..it's a nice piece.

you'll also need a new driveshaft, someone on turbobuick.com has a freshly balanced TTA driveshaft for $150.

and just a little FYI the 200-4r and TH400 are the same lenght so you wouldn't have to change that stuff again if u wanted to go with a TH400 down the road
