Nothing real pricey... will it give a little more perfomance feel or does the stock V6 have to be modded first? If it's a plus to have , What kit's are available? Can I get any of'em at my local parts store?... Also , I understand that my 89 Firebird V6 ,auto, has 3.42 gears. O kay, my T/A I know has 2.73's. But when the 89' shifts into overdrive It feels to geared higher than the 86'T/A. About same rpm's too.... What give's?

You can put a transgo kit in and it should help the trans to last and make it shift better just like it does in the V8 cars, I don't see why it would be a problem just because it is a V6.
