Engine: lt1 intaked 355 makin 277 on 25 psi of fuel pressure and stock timing :)
Transmission: A4 stock... that moved a mobile dyno a foot shifting into 2nd :)

guys whats the most common set up out there? got 3.08 gears now but need more........ please help

please help BTW its a 9 bolt and a series 2 carrier.....

Are you sure you have 3.08's in that 9 bolt rear? The tech database shows 50 86 irocs produced with the 9 bolt and they had the 350 engine.
9 bolt gears are: 2.77, 3.27, 3.45
10 bolt gear on an 86 Iroc are 2.73, 3.23, 3.73 (depending on transmission and G92 option)

3.08 was a rare factory ratio for 9 bolts. To run a 3.45 or a 3.73 gear, you will also need a series 3 posi carrier. All the 9 bolt parts you need are at www.9bolt.com

do they make a spacer for a series 2 carrier? or do i have 2 have 1 made? 400 buck is alot for a new carrier........... or does any1 have them in a good used condition?
