Clutch Help
I did the auto to manual t5 conversion over the last few days everything went smooth except the clutch. I thought everything was fine until I started my car and found out that that clutch is not working. The plates will not disengage. I blead the lines again and still the same problem. Does anyone know what could be causing this?
Did you get the throwout bearing installed in the fork correctly? The metal tabs go in the slot, if you slip the flange between the tabs and fork body you'll never get it to release completely.

As far as I know the throw out bearing is properly installed. I have never put a clutch in before so I could ber wrong, but I put it in as the instructions and diagram said. I really dont want to rip everythin gout to discover its not the bearing, so if you have any other thoughts besides that let me know...thank you!!!
You should at the very least check the slave cylinder travel before tearing back into it. Have somebody else depress the clutch while you lay underneath. The slave cylinder rod should move a minimum .57 inches for it to be able to work the clutch properly. It's just something to check.
It sounds like something else is the problem though. If you can start the car, but cannot get it to move the clutch must not be engaged. Since pushing in the clutch is what disengages it it sounds like it's not the slave cylinder.
