trany cooler lines
trany cooler lines
I was wondering if anybody knows the way the trany lines go to the radaitor. I had took out the original lines and replaced them with hose and cant remember how the lines went. I currently have the top trany cooler hose going to the top hole in the radiator, and the bottom hose going to the bottom hole is this correct.

I don't think it matters.
The tranny cooler in my stock radiator was just a tube along the passenger's side inside the side tank. I'd assume the fluid is under pressure and will flow in either direction just fine.

Factory setup is top to top, bottom to bottom. The top line is the hot oil from the tranny. Bottom line is the cooler return oil.

You guys really need to learn the power of a search.. it's bottom to top, NOT top to bottom, and this post explains why.
