4th gen brakes still not working.

i am still haveing problems with my 4th gen brakes. i have an adjustable proportioning valve, new master cylinder for 4 wheel disc, caliper lines.

with the car in the air and in drive the brakes can barely stop the wheels. at 1000rpms it cant stop the wheels at all.

i think i ordered the caliper lines for a 91 z28 becaue thats what the guy i bought it off of said it was. but the wheels stick out so its a 4th gen. are the lines different on the 4th gen. bigger?

so i think i need either new caliper lines or to rebuild them. but would rebuilding them give them more pushing pressure. i dont think they are leaking.

i need help.

I don't think the lines are different. It sounds more like either your propotioning valve is misadjusted or you've got air in your lines. I'd check those first.

zepherWS6 put a 4th gen rear in his 1986 TA and his brakes works fine. You might want to email or PM him for info.
