can a t-5 out of any chevy work in our camaros. are some stronger than others or should i just get it and rebuild it so it will be stronger anyways.

 

I just put one in out of an S10 blazer....it fits, but I am still have trouble w/ the clutch though, but I think that is just my hydrolic line which I am getting replaced tomorrow, so I will let you know

 

When i was lookin into dropin a v8 into my old s-10 i was told that those t-5 will work but will blow to pieces as they are not made as strong, also something about the splines not bein the same or somthing like that makes em weaker too.....now the 5 speed in the newer s-10's on the 4.6 v-6 will hold up fine unless your runnin a bunch of power...and there a direct bolton to an older s-10 so they might work in the 3rd gen f-bodies too...don't know
