I have an 84 Trans Am with a 3:73 rear gears. I stomp on the gas and leave one tire mark. Some one on another post siad they didnt think the madea one leg 3:73 rear end. Is this true if so that would mean my rear end is broke and has been for the past three years. How much would it cost to fix this?

I just got rid of my stock, 3.73 open rear. I think the 3.73 posi rears were more rare than the open rears.
