Tranny leaking
I went to do a oil change today and noticed 4 spots of what i thoght was water from my AC when i baked my car out it turned out to be tranny fluid. So im guessing my tranny seal is leaking how hard of a job is it to fix ive never worked on a tranny before. Is it bad to switch fluids from what was in there i remeber last time i had my fluid changed a week later my tranny went. Also i wana put in a shift kit ive herd good and bad about B&M stage 2 i cant afford the other kit ive herd of that sells for 100. So should i jsut leave my tranny the way it is or go with b&M.

Leave it the way it is. NEVER buy a B&M shift kit even though people say they "haven't had problems with it" because even though they haven't YET they WILL. TransGo is THE only option for the 700R4 it FIXES stuff rather than making your shifts violent. I'm sure most other people will back me up on this.
yeah i have heard b&m shift kit is not good, go with transgo.
i am not talking poop about b&m but the tranny kits for the 700r4 are not good. they make plenty of other good quality stuff, but when it comes to making our 700r4 better they dont.
transgo is the way to go.
i never changed my tranny fluid yet, but u will need a nice quality gasket for the pan and make sure u follow correct torque for the bolts. do not overtighten the pan.
