Borg Warner T-5 shift pattern?

What is the shift pattern for the T-5 Borg Warner manual trans? Reverse seems to be where first usually is.

Thanx.

If reverse is where 1st usually is, then it's probably not a T5.

Are you sure you don't have the 4 speed out of an '82? They came with the older style transmission (Super T-10) with external linkage rods (as opposed to internal rail type T5) Those transmissions had reverse "left and up", the T5 is "right and down"

Even if you have a 5 speed, look to see if you have linkage rods on the left side of the case. If it IS a 5 speed, it's probably a Richmond or Doug Nash 5 speed. IT'S CRAP!!! GIVE IT TO ME, I'LL TAKE CARE OF IT FOR YOU!!

Hope this helps...
