Just finished up getting everything swapped over on my TH350 in my 86 TA. I used the Hurst conversion kit for the Torque arm. The Hurst kit contained 2 trans arm brackets that the shifter cable bolts to on the transmission. I could not get either Hurst arm to work with my TH350. The stock 700R4 cable went past the Hurst arm by about an inch. I had to go to the wreckers and get an arm of a 700R4 that came out of a 91 TA. This arm worked fine with the stock 700R4 shifter and cable. It was a hassle to fix and cost about 2 days total trying to get it working and figured out. It would have been easier if i was replacing a 700R4 with the TH350, but I went from a T5, so I didn't have any automatic parts laying around.

Aside from this, the kit was complete and easy to install. I'd not steer anyone away from the kit, but if you have the same problem, try and get your hands on a 700R4 trans arm.
