Hi, recently broke my 26 spline rearend in my 85 iroc. I would like to upgrade to the stronger and more available 28 spline axle rearend. Does anyone know where I can get axles for my car so that I can make the switch? any axle from 88-92 should work I believe.. Please let me know if anyone can help! Thanks!

90-92 but good luck finding one in the junk yard. Production numbers were not that high in those years.
You can buy better 28 spline aftermarket axles from www.tomsdifferentials.com for $125 each. They'll fit all third gens with a 28 spline carrier and will fit disk or drum brakes.
You could also install a complete diff from a fourth gen. It's about 2" wider on each side but is a direct bolt-in.

Just replaced the 28 spline axles in my 90 camaro RS, got them at Summit Racing.com for $122 each by Superior Axel. I have the old pair...still good if you are interested email me.
