Hey folks,
Just thought I would put out the word in case you hadn't heard... Tonight I installed an aluminum 1LE driveshaft on my '83 T/A and although I didn't gain any horsepower, the car seems to want to rev up to speed a little quicker and the bad vibration I got from my stock, steel, 0.035" out of round driveshaft is GONE!!
SOTP dyno definitely 2 thumbs up!! Highly recommended mod!

Well, when you push 700 Ft.Lbs of torque it may not be a good idea. I have a aluminum Driveshaft, 2nd gear, 200 shot, and 8 Lbs of boost later its sitting in my backyard in a twisted up heap. But I did that to my old driveshaft too which is why i got an aluminum one in the first place... sigh* you just cant win. If it counts for anything, I only twisted it a little
