T-56 and Lt1 swap.......... got questions.
I pulled my 305 and 700R4
and now am dropin a lt1 and T-56 6 speed in its place
, am i gonna have any problems? Are the driveshafts the same length? i have all parts possible, it was pulled from a 95 camaro. Will the whole 6 speed part have any problems with fitting in a stock manual tranny shift plate? Let me know if you have done this and have come across any problems. Thanks!

The only problems you will have are:
1. Custom Trans Crossmember
2. Rewiring reverse Lights, Neutral safety switch, and Reverse Lockout.
3. Mounting the clutch master cylinder.
4. Interfacing all of the electronics to get your gauges to work correctly.
But, the shifter will stick out of the stock location just fine. The stock driveshaft will fit perfectly.
