I searched for this as best I could but really found nothing on it so forgive me if its a newbie question.

I just acquired an aluminum DS. Do I need to change the output shaft seal when I pull out the old one or is it just as simple as pulling the old one and putting in the new one?

 

You only really have to change the seal if it's leaking. If it's in good shape, it really IS just as easy as that!
