GM Clutch

I will be getting a new clutch next week, My question is what do you all think of the GM Clutch that came on the car? It's gone 125,000 miles on the original, it was designed for the car and worked well throughout the time I had it. The car is mostly stock (305 TBI 5 spd). So do I stay with a good product from GM, or go aftermarket. I did searches but did not find much on the GM clutch.

Thanks for any input! Matt

THe GM clutch will probably cost twice as much as an equivalent-quality aftermarket one. There's absolutely nothing special or superior about the OE clutch.

Get a Centerforce Dual Friction, you'll love it.

Ok, Thanks for the input. I have done some more research, and I am left undecided between the Centerforce DF and the Mcleod. Some love the centerforce DF while others hate it. I didn't see anyone who had problems with the Mcleod. What do you think?

Also, you guys with the Mcleod, how does the pedal feel compared to stock, is it smooth... any vibrations as you release the pedal?

Anyone have any problems with the Mcleod, and what's the max power you can put behind the Mcleod?

Thanks for the help, hopefully I can get this all wrapped up by weeks end!!
