C clip eliminators

C clip eliminators

Is there any point to c-clip eliminators on a disk brake
rear end ?

Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
First of all I don't think they make a c-clip eliminator for the 7.5" 10 bolt.

NHRA rules state that you must have a positive axle retention device. They don't say you have to have c-clip eliminators. The caliper around the rotor will keep the axle from coming out so rear disk brakes qualify as positive axle retention.

you can use the c clip eliminators from the other 10 bolt, 8.3 or whatever it is. you just have to transfer a bolt hole or two and drill it out. there are none made for a 7.5 rear
