T5 350 Swap Need Help!!!

I just got my engine out of my 79 Camaro (350) to put into my 85 TA. The old 305 is gonna go back into the Camaro. My problem is that the TA is a stick and the Camaro is an auto. So I need to swap the flywheel and flexplate. When I separated them I realized that the 305 had a 153 tooth flywheel with a bigger hole in the center for the crank. The 350 has the 168 tooth flexplate with a smaller hole in the center for the crank. Is this normal? Do I need to now buy a 168 tooth flywheel for the 350 T5 combo and a 153 tooth flexplate for the 5.0 AT combo? Together they cost about $300 new from Summit. And I have already invested lots of money into this swap, but if I have to I will buy this stuff.

You have to run the 153 tooth flywheel with the T5. Only one that will fit inside the bellhousing. You should be able to swap without a problem. Both should have two piece rear main seals and bolt up the same.

If they bolt up run 'em, you won't hurt anything.
