TH350 vacuum?

I am installing a TH350. The question I have, is where should I connect the vacuum line? The carb? Another question is does the vacuum determine the shift points on this tranny? If so, is there a way to modify the shift points if I need to?

It needs to go to manifold vacuum. You modify the shift points with the vacuum modulator. You'll need an adjustable one.

Stephen, do you know of anyone that's had luck with adjustable module. I've only seen the one on my friends chevelle and it just plain doesn't work-screwed in or out, nothing changes. It'd be great for bracket racing if it did though.

When I used a TH350 I never used a modulator valve. I doubt you could get it to shift at the same place every time. I manually shifted each gear.
