Rear tires rubbing/ rear broken?
Sup guys, I have an 88 Iroc with 3.42 gears and 245/50/16's on it and everytime i go around a curve or a corner kind of slow, it makes this rubbing/grinding/squeeky noise. It sounds like maybe the bearings are going or something, maybe the rear....again. Any opinions would be great
have you checked anything out on it? might be a good place to start, look at the u joints, pull the rear cover and axles and look at the bearings. can you shake the car and make it do it sitting still? look at bushings and shocks

The U-Joints are good, I just replaced them when my rear went, but i can shake my tire back and forth a little bit. I can grab the top of the tire and shake it about a 1/4 of an inch or so, in and out. I can't get it to make the noise w/o turning though.

Does it make more noise turn left than right(or vice versa). Is it posi? If so, what type of posi? When the 'rear went' what all did you replace? Axle bearings?
