I tryed the search option but got to make sure its right before I buy it. what year LS1 f bodys comes with Alum Drivs shaft? did any have steel? if so will the auto and 6 speed alum D/S fit a 1990 f body 5 speed t-5? thanks for your help.

LS1 drive shafts are direct bolt in...all are aluminum...all the automatic and 5/6speed driveshafts are all the same...you can take a 4th gen in to a 3rd gen and vice versa...
