i need help i am about to lose my transmition that is spent all weekend putting in. this was my first by the way. There is a hard jerk as i put her into gear. She was this way with the last tranny. could you give some advice?

 

did you reuse the converter, is you idle too high?

 

Do you have any suggestion on the shift cable installation?

 

and yes i did realize today that i did use the same converter for some reason they didn't give one with the trany and don't even as my why i reused it.

This proble means that the motor will have to be pulled now and a new converter needs to be installed.
