I got one for free off my friends IROC (he got a 9inch so he just gave me this one) my question how much stock hp can one take? what about built? are parts expensive? What kind of external mods can I do to beef it up ?

weld the axle tubes, i don't thin kany one makes a girdle for them. they're made like a 10 bolt, basically but stronger. 88 427 camaro sells parts for them. they're fairly strong for a factory rear

I have a Lincoln MIG... how thick is the material... should I just weld them to the carrier? You think Mig (argon/co2 mix 75/25) would be sufficient?
