T.V. cable broken? symptoms??

If the T.V, cable breaks inside the tranny what are the drivability symptoms?? I hope the answer is extremly hard shifts, irractic shift points, does not seem to want to get into 3 or 4 but i did not push it. everything was fine yesterday. comments Thanks Mike

If the checkball was left in under the TV assembly, it will go to high line pressure and do what you describe. In most cases it does just the opposite, the shifts are extremely early and starts to slip badly, good for about 2-5 miles then it is history.

So i went out and disconnected the TV cable at the TB and tryed to pull cable out of its jacket, no go, seems to have a little spring back into tranny(pull on cable and let go and it pops back on it own). so its not broken??? if its broken i should be able to physically tell by pulling .right?
Now back to square one.
thanks mike

when you reatach/adjust the cable, does the cable take up all the slack as the tb is moved from WOT to closed throttle and still have a little bit of tension? If it does then the cable itself might be ok and your problem could be soemwhere else. This happend to me when i trimmed my cables to a shorter lenth (long story) and wasnt agressive enough when i crimped the stop to the cable. The cable poped out of the connector and I had all the same symptoms as yours.

A stuck TV Valve (#1 problem) will do that. TransGo fixes it.
