you dont know the torcher i when through with this rear

let me start from the begining

i had a 9 bolt 3.45 rear which is an awsome rear and i love it but the posi was sliping and the gears were making a little noice so i desided to see if i could get a rear to replace it for now so i could build it so i looked for a disc posi 10bolt with 3.42 and i found one in queens
so i looked at it and everything looked good he opened it and the gears where fine and looked at the ratio and it was 41:11 which with my math was 3.42 so i took it
i get it home and i open it again and i take my calulator and check it and it is 3.73 and am am very happy that i got a 3.73 posi disc rear for so cheap then i notice that the posi is missing a preload spring (i had over looked it in my excitment so i go for 2 weeks serching for one spring and found this place GEARSAREUS.COM and he had an old auburn unit and he sold me one spring

so after i get that in i take off the discs and my father notices that the axle is bent

lucky i had another older non-posi housing to take an axle out off so it was cool so i put the axle in and it was good then i notice that the was a huge piece of tooth stuck in one of the oil galerest
this is F****ing GREAT!!!

i could not get it out as hard as i tried so i desided to take a bolt step

iswaped houseings and put the posi and the gears in the other housing
i know you are sapposed to re shim the pinion but i did not care at this point
evry thing whent together nicely and i was happy and i got a new aluminum cover for it and painted it red

my friend was perching to me dont do it it will wine but i did not listen to him and i just put iit in today
i took it for a ride very nice and easy and i did not hear any wining so i took it to about 55 on the high way and still no wining when i accelerate or stop this is great
it also picks up alot quicker and spins 2ed gear very easy and thats both wheels!

ya i love it
it is much quicker off the like and at hte same time it does not spin the tires as much because i have both wheels turning
in need drag radials then i think i could get into the low 14's
