Programming 4L60E, what does the Main Line Pressure settings do?
There is a table in the eprom for "Main Line Pressure" on the 4L60E and it is mph vs TPS%. What does this control, and what does raising the values do and for drivability, and is it a good or bad idea to raise these slightly?
Thanks
Thanks
IMO, leave all pressure controls alone! If you want to change shift points, fine but don't mess with the pressure controls. Get a TransGo Reprogramming Kit and allow IT to take care of the Pressure control. Another option is the TransGo Vacuum Controlled Pressure SYstem. THis way no "glitch" will affect the Tranny.
