T56 and tailhousing mod question
Hi folks,
Ok, I have a T56 which is going in VERY soon. into a 1987 iroc, that has a mechanical speedo. If I get the tailhousing mod from JTR, do I just need the one with the mechanical speedo gear mod, or will I need to also get the VSS mod thing too?
I guess what my question relates to most, is about the VSS. I'm not sure, but I thought the VSS on 87 iroc's was driven off of the speedo cable itself, so then for the tailhousing thing, I should only have to worry about getting the mechanical speedo thing right?
I'm really lost here, so any help is appreciated. I may also think about the Cable X thing from Abbott, but any help regarding the tailhousing mod from JTR will be great!
