T56 users, I need YOUR opinion!
I have heard varioius bad things about the pull-style clutch on the OEM T56's. Lack of good grip, not as much spring pressure, etc.
I am going to be putting a T56 from a 97 Camaro into my 91, and I am debating on which clutch to get. I know lots of guys like the Centerforce DF for thier T5's etc, and I have heard good things about the Spec clutches. I have also heard a little bit about McLeod. Unfortunately, cost is turning into a factor. I was originally thinking about a centerforce DF, but I was told that the Spec (Stage 2 specifically) has more grip, and as an added bonus it's less expensive. Notice that the LT1 T56 clutches are much more expensive than all the others.
So, which OEM T56 clutch do you guys think works the best?

I use the SLP clutch kit for mine, and seems like I didn't pay much for it, $300 maybe, can't remember, but I think you'll find it at www.slpnj.com good luck
