I was racing a little Honda Civic les week-end... so I put my 700 off OD and to 1st gear... pump the engine holding the brake and off I go... now I have a 305 with a 600 cfm Edelbrock carb, so I say... easy kill. Now it was true untill I shifted to 2nd and that the damned transmission decided to gear up once again in 3rd at 3800 rpm... what's the problem? Is it suppose to do that or do I have a problem with my tranny?
