Any one swaping out Metric 200 lately???
im on the quest to find the gear ration or number of teeth for the early Metric 200 transmission. My car was an 82 and when i took the transmission out i didnt think about the speedo being all messed up.
so now i want it fixed, so i went to a trans place and the guy said i have to find the original ratio....of course i dont have the original transmission now. so if anyone has any idea what the early metric 200 ( 3 spd ) transmission's driven and speedo gears were i would be very happy! And if not, does any one have any idea where i can get this info? website or somthing.
thanks,
~Opha~

If you know your rear axle ratio, you can find out your first gear ratio. If, you don't you can find out your rear axle ratio.I got a 200C in my 82. Just plug in the numbers here.
