I am in desperate need to fina transmission that can handle up to 500-600 ft lbs torque and 400= horse power. So far the only ones I came across that looked good were the stage 3 from netgearhead.com and the stage 3 from bow tie overdrives http://www.700r4.com/trans/level3.htm also I ahve seen some probuilt too but I need some opinions

The only way to find out is to talk to people with those trannies. All I can say is my pro-built is holding up fine. If you get a bow-tie overdrives, get them to put in a shift kit, for some reason they don't believe in them.

By Pro-builts trannys,he is a 700R4 g0d. You will not be sorry with his product, I went through a TCI and a B&M before I found out about Pro built. Laided one of his trannys up in my car and I have not had a problem since.:hail: :hail: :hail: PRO-BUILT

And I just pulled my transmission (old dead one) yesterday...will be installing my Pro-built one this weekend...

I think Dana has a great product and a good warranty (not that anyone I know has used it).

Another thing...I bought my trans in Feb. and am just installing it now. Does Dana worry about the 1 year warranty period? No...because my warranty starts when I install the trans. That proves to me that he really has faith in his product. And just ask any other people on this board with a Pro-built trans what they think...

this is what i did

I had my 700 built up from borg warner performane parts, I redid everything bigger gears, power bands, added 4 clutches, 2400 stall, performance torque convertor, the whole nine yards. I haven't had a problem yet and it shifts harder and better than my previous B&M tranny. thats just me
