How much horsepower and torque can an 1990 Iroc-Z auto handle safely?

Depends. If Bubba down the street did it, it would probably tear up in that Aerostar of yours. If built properly, it can handle quite a bit. Dana at ProBuilt has a few 10 and 11 second customers.
