well i got a transgo shift kit and it seems to shift softer now,
this is what the box says.

Correct: sticking tv & clutch failure

now i know it is in right, because a buddie at Chevy put it in for me and we did it all by the book, there were no problems before we did this project. now my question is... is this a performance kit or did i recive the wrong one? cuz now it seems to slide into 2nd gear and not a swift shift. it also shifted harder when stock. evey thing was put in clean and its all tight. if it is the wrong kit
what do i need to get to make those shifts harder without spending a ton of money?

mY TRANS-GO KIT IS # PSK 700. Did yours come with a new 2nd servo?? If not then I don't think it's the performance kit.

 

The Trans-Go Shift Kit (Junior) as is will not help you out performance wise. I can tell you how to modify this kit for HD applications, but I would add the Corvette servo and larger boost valves, along with the valve body modifications I suggest. You could try the modifications I suggest first, then add the boost vaves and Corvette servo later.
